We are excitedly preparing for our "trip of a lifetime" and are going to attempt at keeping our friends and family updated via this blog. We'll see how this goes . . . no promises. We do have good intentions, however.
If you will remember to pray for us while we are circling the globe, we would be most appreciative. . . that the heat and possibility of numerous medical issues won't steal our joy of seeing God's creation and how he is working in the world.

- We have lived overseas (Jamaica) for nine years and have spent many January terms taking university students to various places in the world. To celebrate our love of travel and our 40th year of marriage, we decided to expand our travels by taking a trip-around-the-world (without students).:) Now that we are retired we are continuing our love of travel. We celebrated our 45th anniversary by checking out the land of our heritage (Switzerland) and its next-door neighbor, Italy. This year we are visiting France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Perhaps this is preparation for you two to go on Amazing Race :-) We'll be praying and looking for updates on your blog.
